Most valuable entry level prepaid recharge plan!

Big blow for Vodafone Idea subscribers:

The telecom has discontinued it’s starting level 99 rupees prepaid recharge plan. Now, Vodafone Idea’s minimum recharge plan for prepaid service will start from 129 rupees. Customers will get 200 mb data under this plan. The plan will be valid for 18 days. Apart from this, the telecom has also reduced validity of Rs 155 prepaid plan to 24 days. Customers get 1 GB data under this plan. But, still, prepaid recharge plan of VI remains cheapest in the industry when compared with its other two rivals, Jio and Airtel.

VI’s 18 days prepaid plan is cheapest amongst those of top three telecoms:
It can be found from the table above, that, albeit, VI’s 18 days prepaid plan is the cheapest amongst those of top three telecoms. But, customers get only 200 mb data. Plus, this plan does not include any sms pack service.

Jio’s Rs 149 prepaid plan has more value:

Rather, Jio’s Rs 149 prepaid plan brings more value for customers. As, customers get 20 days validity, along with 1 gb per day data.

Now, keeping, barometer of minimun 1 GB/day data, lets where customers can find maximum value in entry level prepaid recharge plans of top three telecoms in India

Cheapest 1GB/Day prepaid plans of VI, Jio and Airtel:

So, here also, amongst plans that come with 1 gb per day data, Jio tops the chart in value terms. Jio’s Rs 149 prepaid plan not only has more validity than VI’s Rs 199 plan, but its also Rs 50 cheaper than VI’ and Rs 60 cheaper by Airtel ‘s. Bharti Airtel’s 1GB per day data plan starts from Rs 209. That means, it is Rs 60 costlier than Jio’s Rs 149 plan. Plus, customers will get only one extra day (21 days) as compared to what they would get in Jio’s plan (20 days). Rs 60 more for 1 extra day. It’s just not justified. So, in terms of value, Jio’s prepaid recharge plan is more economical than its other two counterparts!
