The country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto on April 16 launched CT110X, priced at Rs 55,494 (ex-showroom) Mumbai, expanding the line-up under CT range of bikes.
The new variant from Bajaj Auto is the most advanced version in the CT portfolio. This bike is powered by a 115 cc DTS-I engine. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Also, the bike has a rear carrier that can carry up to seven kilograms of weight.
Bajaj CT 110X offers a mileage of 70 kilometres per litre, the automaker claims. It has a fuel tank of 10.5 litres, which means if the fuel tank is full, you can comfortably ride this bike for more than 700 kilometres.
“With the launch of CT110X, we are offering a differentiated product that adds value through superior features, greater riding comfort and durability without compromising mileage,” said Sarang Kanade, President, Motorcycles, at Bajaj Auto Ltd.
Bajaj Auto says CT110X has a bolder and muscular look. This is supported through a wider cross-section, round sturdy headlight, and an all-black visor. Feature changes include thicker crash guards and moulded footholds for safety and comfort. The bike also gets other features like semi knobby tyres and a square tube and integrated tank pads which makes it different from the conventional Bajaj CT110X model.
The new bike gets a higher ground clearance of 170 mm and a 1,285 mm wheelbase that will provide better stability even on poor and uneven roads. This bike has a traditional instrument cluster, which is also available in regular models. Apart from this, it also gets small flyscreens with round headlamps, LED daytime running lights, attractive mudguards and a thick crash guard.
The bike has been priced at Rs 55,494. This is just Rs 1,612 more than the CT110. To give the Bajaj CT110X a different look from the previous CT models, the company has made some cosmetic changes to it along with strong build quality.
