Last month, leading car manufacturers offered great discounts, however, sales volumes on the negative side. The second wave of covid-19 is the major reason for the dip in sales figures followed by the price hikes, shortage in manufacturing supplies, and shutdown of various production units.
However, auto companies including Maruti Suzuki, Renault India, Tata Motors, Hyundai, and Honda once again are offering various offers to attract customers to boost sales in May.
Maruti Suzuki Ltd: The country’s largest carmaker is offering discounts on Arena and Nexa models. The automaker is offering a discount of up to Rs 53,000 on Maruti Swift (Lxi). Maruti is offering corporate discount of up to Rs 18,000 on Celerio and Rs 3,000 on Ertiga.
Maruti is offering discounts of up to Rs 35, 000 on Alto, a discount of Rs 33,000 on Brezza, and up to Rs 32,000 on S-Presso. Eeco gets a discount of up to Rs 28,000, while Maruti is offering benefits of up to Rs 31,000 on the Wagon R.
Hyundai Motors: Hyundai is offering discounts and offers on the Santro, Aura, i20, Grand i10 Nios, and Xcent Prime this month considering the occasion of Akshay Tritiya.
On Hyundai Santro, a discount of up to Rs 35,000 is being offered. The automaker is offering a discount of up to Rs 50,000 on the Grand i10 Nios, Xcent Prime, and Aura.
Renault India: The company is offering discounts of up to Rs 75,000 on Kwid, Triber, and Duster. On Kwid, Renault offering up to Rs 52,000 discount and a corporate discount of up to Rs 10,000 on it. On BS6 compliant Triber, the company is offering a discount of up to Rs 55,000. The company is offering a Rs 45,000 discount on Duster along with a corporate discount of up to Rs 30,000.
Tata Motors: The company is offering a discount of up to Rs 65,000 on Tata Harrier. The company is also offering a discount of up to Rs 25,000 on Tata Tiago and up to Rs 15,000 on the diesel variant of Nexon. A discount of Rs 30,000 is available on Tata Tigor. However, there is no discount on Tata Safari.
