Tata Motors is offering a discount of up to Rs 65,000 on Tata Harrier and of Rs 25,000 on its second best-selling model Tiago along with Tigor and Nexon.
But after providing the discount offers, Tata Motors hiked the prices of its passenger vehicles across all models from 8th May by 1.8%, depending on the model and the variant. However, the auto major also noted that it would offer protection from the price increase to customers who have booked vehicles on or before May 7.
“Increase in prices of commodities, such as steel and precious metals, necessitates us to pass on a part of it through an increase in the price of our products,” said Shailesh Chandra, President – Passenger Vehicles Business.

Discount offers by the company:
Tata Motors is offering an overall discount of up to Rs 65,000 on Tata Harrier including a Cash discount of Rs. 25,000 on all variants except the CAMO, Dark Edition models & XZ+, XZA+ trims, and an additional exchange discount of Rs 40,000 across all variants.
The company’s most affordable hatchback, the Tiago is currently offering a cash discount of Rs. 15,000, along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000. While A discount of Rs 30,000 is available on Tata Tigor combined with a cash discount of Rs. 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000.
The company is also offering an exchange discount of up to Rs 15,000 on the diesel variant of Nexon. However, there are no offers on its petrol variant.

The overall difference across all models is between Rs 10,000 to Rs 30,000 after the price hike. You can still get some benefits from offers. Applying the hike, Tata Harrier will now get the actual discount benefit of Rs 35,000.
Tata Tiago will get the actual discount of Rs 11,000 and Tata Tigor will now be giving the actual discount of Rs 20,000. But, if you are thinking to buy Tata Nexon, you can avail of just Rs. 5,000.
