ICICI Bank is all set to increase the charges levied on services like ATM cash withdrawal, checkbooks, and other financial transactions from August 1. The announcement has come soon after State Bank of India introduced new rules pertaining to cash withdrawals from its ATMs and bank branches from July 1, 2021. As per ICICI bank’s website, the new rules will be applicable to the domestic savings account including the salary account of the customer.
From August 1, ICICI Bank customers will get the facility to conduct up to 3 transactions free of cost from non-bank ATMs in 6 metro cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. After crossing this limit, Rs 20 will be charged for financial transactions from non-bank ATMs and Rs 8.50 for non-financial transactions. This charge will be applicable on Silver, Gold, Magnum, Titanium, and Wealth cardholders.
Meanwhile, 4 transactions per month can be processed from ICICI Bank branch for free. Post this, a charge of Rs 150 per transaction will be charged as per the new rules. This includes both deposit and withdrawal transactions. Not more than Rs 25,000 can be paid to third parties in a single day. Cash transactions are not permitted beyond this limit.
ICICI Bank customers can withdraw up to Rs 1 lakh from their home branch per month per account. Crossing this limit, you will have to pay Rs 5 per Rs 1,000.
