The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is inviting online applications for the post of Officer (Scale I, II & III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). RRBs are government-owned scheduled commercial banks that operate at state level.
More than 11,000 vacancies are waiting to be filled up in 43 regional rural banks across the country. Candidate selection will be done through the Common Recruitment Process (CRP for RRBs-X).
Interested candidates have to register themselves for the CRP for RRBs-X.
The last date for form submission is June 28, 2021.
It has invited applications to fill over 11,000 vacancies in Group A and Group B level. The online examination for the advertised posts is tentatively scheduled to be held in August and September/October 2021.

1) Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent.
2) Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent.
3) Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager):
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. There is also two years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial Institution.
4) Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager):
i) Information Technology Officer: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
ii) Chartered Accountant:
Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with one year experience as a Chartered Accountant.
iii) Law Officer: Degree from a recognised university in law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate along with two years of experience as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in banks or financial institutions for a period of not less than two years.
iv) Treasury Manager: Chartered Accountant or MBA in finance from a recognised university or institution along with one year working experience in the relevant field.
v) Marketing Officer: MBA in marketing from a recognised university with One year working experience in the relevant field.
vi) Agricultural Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognised university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Minimum two years of working experience in the relevant field is also required.
5) Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Minimum 5 years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institutions also required for application of this post.
Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years
Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 40 years
Officer Scale- II (Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 32 years
Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years – Below 30 years
SC/ST/OBC candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit as per govt rules.
1) Officer (Scale I, II & III)
– Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
Rs.850/- for all others
2) Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
– Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM candidates.

Bank transaction charges for Online Payment of fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate
Candidates can apply online only. No other mode of application will be accepted.
A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.
Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees / intimation charges separately for each post applied for.
