State Bank of India (SBI) is trying to make banking as contact-free as possible in these pandemic times. The largest bank of the country banks is now offering certificates of interest on deposit through a few easy steps.
A deposit interest certificate is an annual summary report that would tell anyone how much interest the desopitor has earned on his/her savings accounts and fixed deposits with the bank during the financial year.
This is an important document at the time of filing of income tax returns since the income tax department needs to know your interest income to assess your tax liability.
Now, SBI customers can get this important document by a few clicks through the SBI Quick app.

This app is already available in Play Store for Android platform and App Store for iOS platform.
Step 1: Open the SBI Quick app and visit ‘without login section’.
Step 2: Now, go to ‘Account Services’.
Step 3: Click on ‘Deposit Interest’.
Step 4: Enter details and set up a password.
SBI customers will get their deposit interest certificate in the e-mail which is registered with SBI.
Customers can also get this certificate by visiting bank branches or through a net banking facility.
