Axis Bank has revised fixed deposit interest rates. Now, account holders of the bank will get as high as 7.30 per cent interest rate on fixed deposits of 16 months to 17 months. Senior citizens will get 8.05 per cent rate of interest on this fixed deposit. Axis Bank is currently giving 0.75 per cent additional rate of interest to senior citizens on FDs of tenures of more than 1 years.
7.30 per cent is the highest interest rate that depositors can get by opening a term deposit with Axis Bank.
The second highest interest rate that citizens can get on fixed deposits with the private lender is 7.20 per cent. Account holders will have to open FDs for 2 years to 30 months to get interest rate of 7.20 per cent. Senior citizens will get 7.95 per cent.
Next highest interest rate that account holders can get is of 7.10 per cent.
Depositors can open FDs for five different tenures to get 7.10 per cent rate of interest. Overall, minimum period for which they will have to open an FD to get 7.10 per cent rate of interest is 13 months and maximum period is of 2 years.
Senior citizens, on the other hand, will get 8 per cent interest rate on all these six different tenures.
Account holders will get 6.75 per cent interest rate on FDs of 1 year .Elderly will get 7.50 per cent rate of interest on this FD.
On the other hand, the lowest rate of interest of 3.50 per cent is on FDs of 7 days to 14 days.
Axis Bank is currently giving 0.75 per cent additional rate of interest to senior citizens on FDs of tenures of more than 1 years.
