Vaccines are so far the most important defence against COVID-19. The COVID vaccine certificates are also important documents. You may need them to travel beyond the boundaries of the country. Also in some cases, you might get privileges such as additional interest on fixed deposits.
From April 28, registrations will begin for vaccinations on those between 18 and 45 years.
So, do not forget to download the certificate.
You can download this important document just using your registered mobile number.
According to the guidelines, vaccination centres are responsible for generating your certificate. But you can download it online from the CoWIN portal or the Aarogya Setu app.
Step 1: Download Aarogya Setu app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Open the app and click on the CoWin tab.
Step 3: Click on the Vaccination Certificate option
Step 4: Enter 14-digit beneficiary reference number (You will get this number when you register for vaccination)
Step 5: Click on Get Certificate option
After the vaccination you will receive a message on your registered mobile number along with a certificates download link. This link will lead you to CoWIN portal.
Step 1: Click on the link.
Step 2: Enter your mobile number.
Step 3: Now you will get OTP on your phone.
Step 4: Enter OTP to verify.
Step 5: Then you will get a certificate download option. Click and download it for future reference.
You can get COVID-19 vaccination certificates both after the first and second dose. The process is the same.
