How to check availability of COVID-19 beds in Delhi, UP and Madhya Pradesh

As covid-19 cases surge, several states have started facing acute shortage of beds in hospitals. Queues outside hospitals keep increasing day by day. To make the admission process quick and easy for patients different state governments have launched dashboards through which  you can check bed availability in different hospitals.

Bed Availability: Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh has launched a dashboard through which you can check bed availability in hospitals. The dashboard also shares details about the availability of ventilator and ICU services available in the state. Click here to check bed availability in UP

According to information available, Lucknow’s King Edward Memorial College currently has 100 isolation beds, 500 ICU and 200 ventilator beds. Along with DDU,ESIC, BHU four more hospitals are treating Covid-19 patients in Varanasi. These hospitals in total have 380 isolation beds & 40 ICU beds. In Gorakhpur Covis-19 treatment is available in the district hospital.

Bed Availability: Madhya Pradesh
The state has launched its own portal which gives out details of available beds across the state. The portal contains details about 573 hospitals. You can also check the district-wise availability of covid-19 hospitals on the portal. Besides, contact number of the concerned person for covid-19 treatments is also listed on the portal. It currently has details about 66 hospitals in Gwalior, 50 in Jabalpur, 86 in Indore & 61 in Bhopal. Check out the portal here

Bed Availability:  Delhi

Delhi government has updated all information regarding bed availability on the corona app. You can check the availability of beds on this website too. According to the portal out of 16487, 4165 beds are available for now. The hospitals which have more than 50 beds empty are shown in green.  Shahdara’s GTB hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, Lok Nayak Hospital, LHMC are 5 of the 9 hospitals where more than 50 beds are available right now.

Bed Availability: Mumbai & Pune
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has set up a ward room where you can call and ask for availability of beds in Mumbai.

Pune has also launched its own portal. Click here to check the availability of beds in Pune. You can also choose the hospital in which you would like to check the bed availability. The portal also has covid-19 control room contact numbers, some of which are listed below –
