Here are nine things you should remember in order to safeguard your transactions.

  • Make sure you keep changing the PIN from time to time. In order to avoid and fraud, keep away from writing your ATM PIN on the card. If you have a tendency to forget the PIN then you may save it on your mail.
  • Avoid getting hard copy of transaction records. But, in case if you want to then make sure that you tear the receipt before dumping it into the dustbin
  • Steer clear from telling your card details to anyone.
  • You must know that your bank never asks for your OTP, therefore, if ever you do a digital transaction, do not hare your OTP with anyone.
  • Always count the cash before you leave the ATM
  • In case, your cash is stuck in the machine and the amount is debited from your account, call the customer care immediately.
  • Blur the CVV number from the back of your ATM card for your safety.
  • Always activate SMS alerts from your bank. This way, you will get to know about all the transactions that are taking place through your card.
  • While your are using the ATM machine, make sure that no one else is present inside the ATM
