Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has raised the pricing of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) in Delhi and other cities like as Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and others. The rise went into effect at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
The IGL announced on Twitter that with effect from 6 a.m. on October 13, 2021, the CNG price in Ajmer, Pali, and Rajsamand will be Rs. 65.02/- per kg. Another tweet read, “With effect from 13th October 2021, the PNG price in Muzzaffarnagar, Meerut, and Shamli would be Rs. 38.37/- per SCM.”

“The increase in the price of domestically produced natural gas and increased reliance on more expensive R-LNG has been countered only partially by the revision in retail prices of CNG and domestic PNG,” it noted.
According to the IGL, the price of CNG in Delhi has increased to Rs 49.76 per kg, while the price of PNG has increased to Rs 35.11 per SCM.
