Fuel prices on October 3: Check rates in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and other cities

Petrol and diesel prices were increased by 25 to 30 paise across the country on October 3, according to a price notification by state-run oil companies. Petrol price in Delhi was hiked by 25 paise at Rs 102.39 per litre, while diesel price was increased by 29 paise at Rs 90.77 per litre. In Mumbai, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 108.43 and diesel Rs 98.48. Currently, fuel prices are highest in Mumbai among all metro cities. In Kolkata, a litre of petrol and diesel prices will cost Rs 103.07 and Rs 93.87, respectively.

Petrol prices in Chennai will cost Rs 100.01, while diesel prices will cost Rs 95.31. In Bengaluru, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 105.65 and diesel Rs 95.98. In Hyderabad, a litre of petrol and diesel will cost Rs 106.21 and Rs 98.68, respectively.

In Vijayawada, petrol price costs Rs 108.04, while diesel price is being retailed at Rs 99.98 respectively. Currently, Vijayawada has the highest fuel prices among all south Indian cities. Petrol and diesel prices in Visakhapatnam were being retailed at Rs 106.93  and Rs 99.10, respectively.

Petrol prices have already crossed the Rs 100-mark in more than 20 states and union territories – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Manipur, Ladakh, Bihar, Punjab and others. Petrol and diesel prices get revised in India every day at 6 am.
