Petrol and diesel prices soared by 35 to 37 paise respectively on October 29. In Delhi, petrol price increased by 35 paise from Rs 108.29 to Rs 108.64, while diesel price increased by 35 paise from Rs 97.02 to Rs 97.37. In Mumbai, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 114.47 and diesel Rs 105.49. Currently, fuel prices are highest in Mumbai among all metro cities. In Kolkata, a litre of petrol and diesel prices will cost Rs 109.12 and Rs 100.49, respectively.
Petrol price in Chennai will cost Rs 105.43 while diesel prices will cost Rs 101.59. In Bengaluru, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 112.43 and diesel Rs 103.35. In Hyderabad, a litre of petrol and diesel will cost Rs 113.00 and Rs 106.22, respectively.
In Vijayawada, petrol price costs Rs 114.57, while diesel price is being retailed at Rs 107.21 respectively. Currently, Vijayawada has the highest fuel prices among all south Indian cities. Petrol and diesel prices in Visakhapatnam were being retailed at Rs 113.72 and Rs 106.37, respectively.
Petrol prices have already crossed the Rs 100-mark in more than 20 states and union territories – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Manipur, Ladakh, Bihar, Punjab and others. Petrol and diesel prices get revised in India every day at 6 am.
