Petrol and diesel prices hold steady on October 12, after seeing a continuous rise in the last couple of days. In Delhi, petrol price per litre will cost Rs 104.44, while diesel price will cost Rs 93.17 per litre. In Mumbai, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 110.41 and diesel Rs 101.03. Currently, fuel prices are highest in Mumbai among all metro cities. In Kolkata, a litre of petrol and diesel prices will cost Rs 105.09 and Rs 96.28, respectively.
Petrol prices in Chennai will cost Rs 101.79, while diesel prices will cost Rs 97.59. In Bengaluru, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 108.08 and diesel Rs 98.89. In Hyderabad, a litre of petrol and diesel will cost Rs 108.64 and Rs 101.66, respectively.
In Vijayawada, petrol price costs Rs 110.35, while diesel price is being retailed at Rs 102.81 respectively. Currently, Vijayawada has the highest fuel prices among all south Indian cities. Petrol and diesel prices in Visakhapatnam were being retailed at Rs 109.50 and Rs 101.97, respectively.
Petrol prices have already crossed the Rs 100-mark in more than 20 states and union territories – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Manipur, Ladakh, Bihar, Punjab and others. Petrol and diesel prices get revised in India every day at 6 am.
