TV actor Rubina Dilaik on February 22 pipped singer Rahul Vaidya and others to emerge as the winner of the reality show “Bigg Boss” season 14.
Bigg Boss also declared her as the ‘toughest woman of the house’. She has been one of the most opinionated contestants and has always portrayed herself as a strong woman who never shied away to voice out her thoughts and opinions. She remained an audience favourite right from the show’s debut in October.
The Shakti actor had made her entry in Bigg Boss 14 house with her husband and actor Abhinav Shukla. Her journey in the house was full of roller coaster ride where she opened up about the rumors about the trouble in her marriage in the Immunity Stone task.
The actress had a disagreement with host Salman Khan over his ‘saaman’ remark which he made for her husband Abhinav. Due to which she expressed her disappointment with Bigg Boss and even threatened to leave the show. However, Abhinav made her understand the situation and she was convinced to stay. Her fights with Rahul Vaidya also gained TRPs and pulled the audience in her bucket.
Besides Dilaik and Vaidya, the other three finalists of the show were actors Nikki Tamboli, Aly Goni, and Rakhi Sawant. Tamboli, who re-entered the show after being evicted, was the second runner-up, followed by Goni who stood fourth.
The finale night had some grand performances along with special appearances by veteran actor Dharmendra and dancer-actor Nora Fatehi. Dharmendra performed a scene from his 1975 blockbuster “Sholay” with Khan and Sawant joining him. Fatehi danced to some of her popular numbers with the “Bharat” star.
Bigg Boss 14 season was held without the live audience in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
