Seven Bollywood blockbusters released on Eid

Dabangg (2010): The action-comedy by Abhinav Kashyap starring Salman Khan as a fearless cop 'Chulbul Pandey' was a box office success. The movie earned Rs 140 crore net at the domestic box office and over Rs 220 crore worldwide.

Bodyguard (2011): The Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard is a remake of the Malayalam movie with the same name. Salman plays the role of 'Lovely Singh', a bodyguard. The romantic-action film was a major success with Rs 234 crores box office collection.

Ek Tha Tiger (2012): Salman paired with Katrina Kaif for this romantic-action thriller. Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie was success and had a global collection of Rs 320 crore.

Chennai Express (2013): This action–comedy directed by Rohit Shetty starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone crossed Rs 422 crore collection worldwide.

Kick (2014):  Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut is filled with comedy and action. Starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandes became a blockbuster hit. The film collected Rs 233 crore net at the Indian box office and over Rs 377 crore worldwide.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015): In the comedy-drama directed by Kabir Khan, Salman plays an Indian who embarks upon a journey to help a little girl reunite with her family living in Pakistan. The critically acclaimed film crossed Rs 915 crore worldwide.

Sultan (2016): The Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer movie crossed Rs 589 crore mark worldwide making it a blockbuster hit.
