Federal Bank Ltd spurts 2.1%, up for third straight session

Federal Bank Ltd gained for a third straight session on March 4.

HAL is engaged in carrying out design, development, manufacture, repair and overhaul of aircraft, helicopter, engines and related systems like avionics, instruments and accessories primarily serving Indian defence programme.

Federal Bank Ltd gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 89.95, up 2.1% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.4% on the day, quoting at 15184.5. The Sensex is at 51190, down 0.49%. Federal Bank Ltd has risen around 8.11% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which Federal Bank Ltd is a constituent, has risen around 1.64% in last one month and is currently quoting at 36368.05, down 0.36% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 265.14 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 229.76 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark March futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 91.3, up 2.82% on the day. Federal Bank Ltd is up 8.11% in last one year as compared to a 34.75% spurt in NIFTY and a 25.76% spurt in the Nifty Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 12.44 based on TTM earnings ending December 20.
