Tech shares led US stocks higher Thursday, despite an unexpected jump in jobless claims that resurfaced some concerns about the economy and sent bond yields lower.

Discount brokerage firm Zerodha in a tweet said, “There is an issue with live ticks for NSE indices (Nifty 50, Nifty Bank and others) across brokers. We are in touch with NSE to have this fixed.”
According to media updates, the exchange closed the cash market at 11.40 am and the future market at 11.43 am due to a technical glitch. Pre-opening time to be out soon.
An individual on Twitter sarcastically said, “More than 1 hour NO UPDATES in #NIFTY. Aaj Nifty band hai kya ???.”
