Veteran film actor Amitabh Bachchan will soon roll out his Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collection with Rhiti Entertainment’s platform BeyondLife.Club. Bollywood’s angry young man will be the first one to launch his NFT collection in the form of poems, a narration of Madhushala and other souvenirs. These collectibles will represent his legendary status and mark the opening of this maiden NFT platform which is a partnership between Rhiti Entertainment and No Code NFT Exchange Platform – GuardianLink.io.

NFT is a blockchain phenomenon that has already recorded nearly $2.5 billion in NFT sales globally and is poised to take a leap forward by welcoming renowned brands, celebrities and athletes of South East Asia.”I have joined Rhiti Entertainment, Singapore and will be launching NFT’s soon on the platform,” said Bachchan as he confirmed the partnership.

In fact, this isn’t the first instance when Bachchan has ventured into the buzzing technology of blockchain. According to Economic Times, the bollywood megastar along with his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan, invested $2,50,000 in a Singapore-based blockchain company Meridian Tech and made $17.5 million by 2017.

An NFT is bought and sold online with cryptocurrencies. It’s generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos – blockchain. Such digital asset represents objects of esteem value like a piece of exquisite art, music, in-game items and videos. Once an NFT sells, the creator receives an amount in the form of cryptocurrency. They also receive a certain commission on each sale of their NFT.

While cryptocurrencies can be exchanged and/or transferred to one another, NFTs are unique and cannot be exchanged with another item. Besides, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin can be further broken down into smaller units known as Satoshi (100-millionth of a bitcoin). On the other hand, NFTs cannot be broken down as they exist as a whole.

“As compared to artists across the globe, Indian artists are just picking up steam in terms of participating in the world of NFTs. Digital Asset space has been limited to crypto millennials and tech savvy audiences. Today GuardianLink.io with its no code NFT Exchange framework and its deep Legitimacy Protocol Infrastructure is bridging the gap between crypto-savvy and collectors of the world by eliminating the complexity of participation in the space,” said Keyur Patel, co-founder, Rhiti Entertainment & Chairman of GuardianLink.io.

Arun Pandey, MD and chairman at Rhiti Group said that it was astounding to see the popularity of NFTs rise among artists across the world to create financial value for their content.

“The opportunities and the growth possibilities present in this space is beyond imagination. Artists are latching up to this technology to create value around their life and work, which was almost dormant earlier. Our biggest motivation behind this venture is to empower artists, celebs and athletes globally and at the same time help the diehard fans to get their hands over the purest form of the content.”

Recently, domestic crypto startup WazirX also launched an NFT for over 300 creators hailing such as 3D artists, digital artists, muralist photographers, canvas artists, street artists and visual artists. Internationally, celebrities like Ellen Degeneres, rapper Snoop Dogg, singers Lewis Capaldi and Shawn Mendes, actresses Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, among others have also ventured into NFT.
