Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on April 15 announced weekend curfew measures in New Delhi to to arrest the spread of coronavirus cases in Delhi.

Kejriwal informed that one weekly market per day per municipal zone will operate. He also said there is no shortage of COVID-19 beds in Delhi hospitals.

—  Only essential services to operate

— Curfew passes for marriages & other permitted activities

— Gym, pools, malls, to be closed

— Cinema halls allowed at 30% capacity

— 1 weekly market allowed per day per zone

— Only Takeaways; dine-in not allowed

The government will also ensure strict enforcement of COVID appropriate behaviour such as wearing masks, Kejriwal said, noting that many people were still not following it.
