Bihar State Health Society to recruit auxiliary nurse-wives

Bihar State Health Society (SHSB) has invited applications for the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) under the National Health Mission (NHM). The total number of vacancies is 8,853.

Eligibility criteria

i) Qualification: Diploma (2 Years Full Time) in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) training course from a recognised training institute;

ii) Registration from Bihar Nurses Registration Council.

2) Maximum Age:

Unreserved/EWS: 37 years

Unreserved and EWS (Female): 40 years

BC/MBC (Male and Female): 40 years

SC/ST: 42 years

Selection process

Selection of candidates will be done through an exam. Duration of the test will be two hours. There will be 80 questions on general knowledge, analytical reasoning, numerical ability and English.
