Covid-19: India records 38,079 cases in the last 24 hours

The active caseload is currently at 4,24,025 and constitutes 1.36% of the total infections.

The estimates for risk were observed after accounting for differences regarding date of vaccination, age of the participants, socioeconomic status, and other risk factors for Covid-19.

India has reported 38,079 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The total recoveries across the country so far are 3,02,27,792. According to the health ministry’s data, 43,916 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.

The active caseload is currently at 4,24,025 and constitutes 1.36% of the total infections. The national recovery rate of Covid-19 has increased to 97.31%. The testing capacity has also been substantially ramped up to 44.20 crores in the country.

The weekly positivity rate stands below 5%. The daily positivity rate is at 1.91%. It has been less than 3% for 26 consecutive days.

Under the nationwide vaccination drive, cumulative vaccine doses administered so far have reached 39.96 crores
