Since March 2020, the pandemic has worsened the economic condition in our country. There are many people who have either lost their job or faced salary cuts. With the beginning of 2021, there were high hopes of the economy coming back on track but the last two months have brought back last year’s nightmare again. This second wave looks much more dangerous to people’s well-being as well as our country’s economy. People working in Metropolitans have once again started working from home.
So, if you are back in your hometown and exploring options to earn an income, here is a government scheme that can be of great help.
Apply for Common Service Centre
With the government’s Digital India program, you can earn money by opening a Common Service Centre (CSC) in your area. A huge number of government services have been upgraded to online in the past few years. From banking to payments, Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, and even job openings for government departments are now online.
It’s a good opportunity for young people who are about to start their career, to provide such services and earn a good amount of money through CSC. Let us understand what this scheme actually is and how to apply for it.
What is the scheme?
Nowadays, most educated young minds know how to operate a computer. So, it won’t be difficult to carry out the task. If you want to open a Common Service Center, first of all, you need to register for CSC on register.csc.gov.in. For this, you need to pay a one-time registration fee of Rs.1400 and upload the photograph of the place where you want to open the center. You can track your application with a unique ID which will be generated after filling up the registration form.
Training
Once your application is accepted, you will get proper certified training. At the completion of this training, you will receive a certificate. With this certificate, you will get entitled to provide much more services than any normal cyber café.
Entitlement to carry out Government Services
This scheme will enable you to provide many services like online courses, CSC bazaar, agricultural services, air, and bus ticket booking facilities along with mobile and DTH recharging services. Other than that, you will be able to provide government services like applying for a PAN card or Passport. You can charge fees on any of these services keeping in mind your hometown or village.
