Delhi Metro’s Airport Express Line will be extended to link Terminal 3 of the Indra Gandhi International (IGI) Airport with the upcoming Noida International Airport (NIA), via Shivaji Stadium. The government has requested Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to do a feasibility study regarding the same, Times Of India, reported on Tuesday. DMRC, just recently signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to prepare a detailed project report with Yamuna Expressway Industrial Authority (YEIDA) for the Greater Noida-NIA metro corridor.
While the section from the Greater Noida-NIA will be about 36 km long, the terminal stretching from Greater Noida to terminal 3 will be 38 km long, the publication reported.
Feasibility study for Greater Noida-NIA corridor is completed

The Greater Noida-NIA corridor’s feasibility study has been completed and the detailed project report has been made. However, the Greater Noida-IGI airport feasibility study is underway and will be done as per the MoU, it said.
