Maruti Suzuki has driven in yet another low cost affordable hatchback at ex-showroom price of 4.80 lakh rupees. The all new Tour H1 will come in petrol and CNG variants. The ex-showroom price of CNG variant will start from 5.70 lakh rupees. Maruti claims customers will get mileage of 24 kilo metres per litre on petrol variant. While, CNG variant will give mileage of 34 kilo metre per kg. Maruti has said that the look and specifications of all new Tour H1 will be similar to Alto K10.

Jio rolls out new prepaid plan at Rs 269
Jio has rolled out a new prepaid plan at 269 rupees. Subscribers will also get JioSaavn Pro subscriptions bundled with this plan. The plan also includes ad free music, unlimited downloads, unlimited JioTunes with the JioSaavn Pro subscription. Jio will give 1.5 GB per day data under this plan valid for 28 days. Validity period of other plans which come bundled with JioSaavn Pro subscription will range from 28 days to 84 days.
HMA Agro fixes Rs 555-585 price band for its IPO
Frozen meat exporter HMA Agro Industries has fixed a price band of 555 to 585 rupees a share for its 480 crore rupees IPO. The initial share sell process will open on June 20, 2023. The company proposes to utilise the net proceeds for expanding capex. The allotment will be done on June 29. Listing will take place on July 4.
Gov may again hike DA by 4%
Next news is for government employees and pensioners. According to media reports, government employees and pensioners are expected to get another round of DA hike of 4%. Government may take this decision in October, 2023. The increment will be effective from July 1, 2023. Government revises dearness allowance twice in a year. After the revision, over 1 crore employees and pensioners will get 46 per cent Dearness allowance. Currently, DA is 42%. Government revises DA to give relief to its employees from Inflation.
Migraine, asthma drug prices to come down
Prices of drugs may not rise in near term. Some of the drugs whose prices may not rise are those which are used in treatment of illnesses like eye infection, migraine, asthma and respiratory issues. India’s drug price regulator National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority or NPPA has put a ceiling on prices of total of 18 formulations and 23 new drugs. Earlier, this year, the government had fixed prices of medicines used in treatment of diabetes and high blood pressure as well.
Tur dal import ban of no use: experts
Tur daal prices have skyrocketed in last one year. On an average, prices have jacked up by 22 rupees per kg in last one year. Currently, 1 kg of tur dal comes at an average price of 124 rupees. Seeing price surge, government has imposed import ban to contain prices. But according to experts, import ban is unlikely to bring prices down because production is lower this year.
