The UK and South Africa, Botswana, Israel, Hong Kong, Brazil, Bangladesh, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore and Zimbabwe, have been included in the 12 at-risk countries. The report said travellers from at-risk countries will be subjected to testing and extra surveillance.
In a move to increase further bookings, due to the week on week rise, travel platforms, hotel chains and airlines are launching more sales and festive offers this year and are hoping to make the most of this month, The Economic Times reported on Thursday. Cleartip for the first time, has partnered with Flipkart for the big billion days sales that would go on till October 10 and offers a flat 20% discount on domestic flights, a full refund on flight cancellations at Re 1 and upto Rs 25,000 off on international flights.

Cleartrip also said that it will provide an opportunity for travellers to explore different domestic and international destinations. It is also set to bring back the convenience and flexibility of bookings for their customers through deals like EzCancel at Re 1 during the sale days.
EaseMyTrip is also running a plethora of offers in collaboration with banks and wallets during the festive season across flights, bus, hotels and trains. Currently, offers like FestiveSale where users will get an offer of up to 25% on all domestic flights, which is the most popular as of now. In addition, they would continue to extend their full refund on domestic flights in case of cancellation due to medical reasons.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has launched the ‘Dekho Apna Desh Festival Stays’ offer which provides special room rates and festive amenities for bookings done till October 15, for stays starting from October 1 to January 15 next year.
IndiGo is also offering fully transferable gift vouchers and can be split across multiple trips, and is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
