Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), the largest commercial oil company in the country, has published a notification for the recruitment of technical and non-technical trade apprentices. A total of 480 vacancies would be filled up. Interested candidates can apply for these posts on or before 5 pm on August 28, 2021. The recruitment will be done for the states of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

– Educational qualification
Trade Apprentice: Matriculation with two-year ITI course in relevant field.
Technician apprentice: Three-year diploma in engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised institute or university.
Trade apprentice (accountant): Graduate in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised institute or university.
Trade apprentice (data entry operator): Minimum class 12 pass but below graduate.
Trade Apprentice (retail sales associate): Minimum class 12 pass but below graduate.
There will be minimum marks relaxation for the candidates belonging to reserved categories.
– Age limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on June 30, 2021.
Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.

The selection shall be on the basis of the performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained in the written test. The written test will be conducted with objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s).
