International roaming gets easier with this pack

While travelling abroad, SIMs from other countries often do not work properly or international roaming packs are very expensive. In such a situation, most of the customers prefer to take local SIM. But to overcome this problem of customers, Reliance Jio Infocom has launched a new international roaming pack for America and UAE. Not only this, in-flight connectivity rates have also been reduced by more than 60%. Its objective is to take advantage of the growth in global air travel for work and holidays.

What will be the price of the plan?

Telecom market leader Jio has also launched an annual international roaming plan priced at Rs 2,799, which is applicable in 51 major countries. Whereas for the US, the price is Rs 1,555, Rs 2,555 and Rs 3,455. This will be valid for 10/21/30 days. Jio is offering 7 to 25 GB data, 100 text messages and up to 250 minutes of voice calls on these packs. Incoming calls include VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi) calling. The US pack is also valid in Mexico and the US Virgin Islands. Jio’s new pack for UAE is priced at Rs 898, Rs 1,598 and Rs 2,998, with validity of 7/14/21 days. The telecom company is offering 1 GB to 7 GB data along with 100 text messages and unlimited incoming SMS messages on these plans.

The pack will also be useful in airplanes

There are many incoming/outgoing voice minutes on the roaming plans. Jio is also offering in-flight connectivity pack, whose validity will be 1 day. This service will be available through Aeromobile aircraft roaming network. In which the satellite system is used when the aircraft is 20,000 feet above the ground. This service is available on 22 airlines. The price of this pack starts from Rs 195, earlier its price was Rs 499. In this you will get the facility of 250 MB data, 100 voice minutes and 100 text.

Airtel gained from roaming packs

Recently, Airtel MD Gopal Vittal had said that the company’s strong hold in global roaming services has contributed to the telecom company’s ARPU growth in the second quarter of the financial year. In such a situation, Jio has launched new voice and data plans with free in-flight benefits. These IR plans come in four variants. Free in-flight benefits include 100 voice minutes, 100 text messages and 250 MB of data.
