The Western Railway introduced newly upgraded Tejas sleeper coach rakes in the Mumbai Rajdhani Express train. The first of its kind smart train aims to provide world-class facilities to passengers with the help of intelligent sensor-based systems and exclusive features.

Automatic plug door: The new smart coaches are equipped with automatic plug doors. All the main entrance doors are centralised and controlled by the guard. The train will not start until all the doors are closed.
Improved toilet unit: The toilets have an anti-graffiti coating, gel coated shelf, new design dustbin, door latch activated light and engagement display.
