Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL), a central public sector enterprise, has invited applications for recruitment to the post of trade apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 for its Kaiga site in Karnataka. The duration of apprenticeship is one year. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 75 vacancies in various trades. The application process began on September 30, 2021. Eligibility criteria
– Educational qualifications: Candidates should have a ITI pass certificate in respective trade recognised by NCVT or SCVT to apply for this post.
– Age limit: The candidates should have attained the age of 14 years. The maximum age limit is 24 years as on October 15, 2021. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.
– Fitness: A candidate should be free from evidence of any contagious or infectious disease.
Selection procedure
The selection of apprentices will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in ITI.
How to apply
Application will be accepted online only. First, the candidate has to register himself at the web portal of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship at http://www.apprenticeship.org/ for the respective trade through the establishment registration number E01212900046, which is the establishment ID for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd., Kaiga site.
Then they can submit the application form available online at the NPCIL website www.npcilcareers.co.in till October 15, 2021 at 4 pm.
According to notification, in this stage, physical copy of the application need not be sent to NPCIL authority, but should be produced, if shortlisted.
