Odisha government to recruit 58 post graduate teachers

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications for recruitment to the position of post graduate teachers for sciences stream. This recruitment will be done to fill 58 vacancies in newly created Kalinga Model Residential Schools and the Biju Pattnaik Adarsha Bidyalaya under SC and SC development department. As per official notification, out of 58 seats, 20 seats are reserved for women. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for this post from November 17, 2021. The last date for submission of registered online application is December 23, 2021.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification: Candidates must have a master’s degree in the concerned subject from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate. In addition he or she has to obtain a B.Ed or equivalent degree recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi.

Age limit: As per notification, the minimum and maximum age limit is 21 years and 32 years respectively. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.
