Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications for recruitment to the post of post-graduate teacher posts in the various government higher secondary schools under the department of school and mass education. This recruitment drive is being initiated to fill up a total number of 335 vacancies in 24 disciplines. Out of 335 vacancies, 116 are reserved for women. The online registration window opened on September 8 and remain open until December 7, 2021. The last date for submission of registered online application is December 14, 2021.

— Scheduled Castes (SC): 53 posts (15 for women)

— Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC): 37 posts (12 for women)
Educational qualification: Candidates must have a master’s degree in the concerned subject from a recognised university and have possessed a two-year post-graduate master’s course or integrated six years post graduate master’s course from the regional college of education recognised by the NCERT in the concerned subjects. In addition, he or she must have a BEd or equivalent degree recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi.
Age limit: Candidates must not be below the age of 21 years and above 32 years as of January 01, 2021.
Candidates have to pay Rs 400 as an examination fee. Candidates belonging to SC, ST of Odisha and PwD are exempted from payment of this fee.
