On Wednesday, as a part of a major top-level bureaucratic reshuffle, Air India chairman Rajiv Bansal has been appointed as the new aviation secretary by the Centre. A 1988 batch IAS officer of Nagaland cadre, will take charge from Pradeep Singh Kharola, who will retire by end of this month. K Rajaraman, additional secretary in the department of economic affairs, has been appointed secretary, department of telecommunications. He will replace Anshu Prakash who is due to superannuate on September 30.
Ministry of Cooperation gets new secretary
Pradip Kumar Tripathi, who was the steel secretary. has been appointed as the secretary for department of personnel and training (DoPT).
The order also said that Govind Mohan, additional secretary in the department of home, will be secretary, ministry of culture.
Anurag Jain has been appointed as the secretary, department for promotion of industry and internal trade, ministry of commerce and industry. While, K Sanjay Murthy, CEO and MD, National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited, will be secretary, department of higher education, the order said.
The order said that Rajesh Aggarwal, additional secretary and financial adviser in the ministry of petroleum and natural gas, will be the secretary, ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship.
Devendra Kumar Singh, additional secretary and development commissioner, ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises will be secretary, ministry of cooperation.
Sunil Barthwal, who is the Central Provident Fund Commissioner in the Employees Provident Fund Organisation at present, has been appointed as the secretary, ministry of labour and employment.
Secretary of the ministry of labour and employment, Anuradha Prasad will be the secretary of inter state council secretariat, ministry of home affairs.
