Reliance’s aim is to be the number one player in the e-commerce space and all the partnerships and acquisitions have been planned with that objective. The investments are being made accordingly, the report added.
In addition to this, Reliance is investing several thousand crores into its e-commerce strategy with a clear order to forestall competition and be the number one player in the space that is currently dominated by Amazon and Walmart-owned Flipkart.
