Tamil Nadu PSC Recruitment 2021: The upper band of pay of an assistant public prosecutor in Tamil Nadu extends up to Rs 1,77,500 per month.

Preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on November 6, 2021.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of the assistant public prosecutor under Tamil Nadu general service. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 50 vacancies in the prosecution department. According to the notification, it is a grade-2 post. The online application process has already started. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the mentioned post through the official website of the commission on tnpsc.gov.in. The last date for submission of application forms is September 24, 2021.

Vacancy details

Through this recruitment process, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will fill 50 vacancies.

The rule of reservation of appointments is applicable for this recruitment and the distribution of vacancies will be announced later.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualifications:

The candidates must have completed graduation in law or its equivalent from any university or institution recognised by the UGC and also be a member of the bar.

Adequate knowledge of Tamil is also mandatory.

Experience:

The candidates must have had an active practice in criminal courts for a period of not less than five years.

Age limit:

Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Castes-A (SC-A), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Most Backward Classes – Vanniakula Kshatriya (MBC-V), Most Backward Classes – Denotified Community (MBC/DNC), Most Backward Classes (MBC), BC(OBCM), BCM and destitute widows of all categories: Applicants should not have completed 60 years of age as on July 1, 2021.

Others: Applicants should not have completed 34 years of age as on July 1, 2021.

Pay scale

Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 (Level 22) per month
