North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd (NEEPCO) is looking for graduate apprentices and technician apprentices. Candidates can apply online for these posts. The total number of vacancies for these positions is 94. The period of apprenticeship is one year.
The company is a “Mini Ratna” category-I central public sector enterprise under the ministry of power. The company is engaged in planning, designing, and executing power projects of hydro, thermal and solar and entering into wind energy projects.
Graduate apprentice
a) Degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory university, or
b) A degree in engineering or technology granted by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament, or
c) Graduate examination of professional bodies recognised by the central government as equivalent to a degree, or
d) A sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he may hold a degree in engineering or technology as mentioned in (a), (b), (c) above.
Technician apprentice
a) Diploma in engineering or technology granted by a state council or board of technical education established by a state government, or
b) Diploma in engineering or technology by a university, or
c) Diploma in engineering or technology granted by an institute recognised by the state government or central government as equivalent to (a) and (b) above, or
e) A sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he may hold a diploma mentioned in (a), (b), (c) above.
