What is a Common Service Centre? Here are all the details

The Common Service Centers are providing govt scheme benefits in rural India. This has also generated employment opportunities for the youth

The Central Government has now decided to increase the income of the operators of CSCs to Rs 11 per transaction instead of Rs 4.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently credited Digital India for easing the process of issuing the driving licenses, birth certificates, electricity bills, water bill payments, income tax returns, among other things, in Indian villages through Common Service Centers (CSCs). From updating legal documents to bank transactions or information regarding benefits from various schemes of central and state government – everything is made available at the CSCs.
