So, it is important to understand what is not included in your policy to avoid rejection in the event of a claim. Also if one studies this list, he/she will not labour under a false notion of security. Let’s take a look at a few things that are not covered in car insurance.

Let’s take a look

– Any claims made in a situation where you were driving under the influence of alcohol won’t be covered even in comprehensive car insurance.

– If you were driving without a valid driver’s license, your claims won’t be covered.

– Breakdowns due to the vehicle ageing, or damage due to regular expected wear and tear are not covered under a two-wheeler insurance plan.

– Two-wheeler insurance does not cover damage or loss suffered as a result of speeding.

– Any incident taking place outside the country cannot be covered in a two-wheeler plan.

– Many people tend to forget to renew their car insurance within the stipulated time. This will lead to insurance invalidation, and you may not be able to enjoy claim benefits when required. In that case, you are not entitled under any cover.
