Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, on Thursday rose nearly 1%, trading at $46,010.33, while Ethereum spiked by 1.77 % and was trading at $3,217.02. All the major cryptocurrencies were trading in green in the last 24 hours. XRP rose by 16.94% and was trading at $1.02.
Separately, WazirX, India’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, said on Wednesday said it has recorded 2,648% growth in user sign-ups from tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India.
Based on a report generated by Razorpay and published on moneycontrol.com, WazirX said tier-2 and tier-3 cities had driven almost 55% of the total user sign-ups on its platform in 2021, thereby overtaking tier-1 cities that demonstrated a sign up growth of 2,375%.

A firm specializing in transferring cryptocurrency said on Wednesday, that hackers have sent back a portion of digital loot from a record haul.
Poly Network had put out a tweet saying it had received about $4.8 million worth of stolen assets back, and is hoping for more from the online heist potentially valued at more than $600 million.
The network had issued a plea for the stolen Ethereum, BinanceChain and OxPolygon to be shunned by traders running wallets for storing cryptocurrency.
Poly Network said in a tweeted message to thieves that the amount of money hacked by them is the biggest one in the history of decentralized finance.
Blockchain system defense firm Slowmist valued the Poly Network heist at more than $610 billion.
