It is raining IPOs this year and investors are spoilt for choice when it comes to investment opportunities.
In an interview with Money9, Radhika Gupta, MD and CEO, Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd, spoke about the metrics and points investors should take note of before investing in IPOs.
“Due diligence is an absolute must before an individual invests in an IPO. A large number of people are also applying in these IPOs, but getting subscription is not that easy either. We have come up with a solution to this problem through our IPO Fund,” she told Money9.
According to Radhika, the objective of this fund is not to give listing gains, but to select those companies for retail investors which have good growth prospects. According to Radhika, one should invest in this fund with a long-term perspective and should have at least 5-7 years of outlook.
