Debt investors had raised concerns about the government’s Rs 12 lakh crore borrowing plan for the fiscal year 2021-2022, fearing that it may adversely affect their returns.
But to their relief, the Reserve Bank of India has announced that it will conduct open market operations for bonds worth Rs 20,000 crore.
