Results today: Aarti Industries, Abbot India, Canara Bank, Chalet Hotels, GlaxoSmithKline Pharma, Minda Corporation, PI Industries, Tata Motors, Torrent Pharma are slated to announce their financial results on Tuesday.
Subex: IT services firm Subex on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 15.6 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31. It had posted a profit of Rs 31.99 crore in the year-ago period.
Bharti Airtel: Telecom operator Bharti Airtel reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 759 crore for the fourth quarter of the financial year ended on March 31, and an annual turnover of more than Rs 1 lakh crore for the first time. The company had posted a loss of Rs 5,237 crore in the same period a year ago.
Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals: The company reported a 29.37% growth in net profit at Rs 308.03 crore for the quarter ending March 31 compared to the same period of the previous financial year. The company’s PAT stood at Rs 238.77 crore during the corresponding quarter of 2019-20.
Wabco: The auto component manufacturer reported 55% rise in net profit at Rs 48 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31. It had clocked a net profit of Rs 31 crore in January-March period of 2019-20.
Orient Cement: C K Birla group firm Orient Cement reported an over two-fold jump in net profit at Rs 99.87 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2021. It had posted a net profit of Rs 44.06 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago.
Gland Pharma: Drug firm Gland Pharma posted a 34% rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 260.4 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2021, on account of robust sales. It had posted a net profit of Rs 194.8 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Gland Pharma said in a BSE filing.
HCL Technologies: The IT firm announced the expansion of investment in the United Kingdom with the hiring of 1,000 technology professionals to support its clients in the UK and around the world. The company plans to hire these professionals in the fields of digital transformation, cloud, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity for its London, Greater London and Manchester offices.
