Domestic equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty were trading volatile at over half time. Sensex was hovering around 60,000, while Nifty gave up 17,850 at half time. Among the broader markets, the Nifty Midcap 100 and Smallcap were down around 0.1% each. “Markets look still in the positive trends, one must not bother about the weakness or volatility and stick with quality investments. I believe the auto and banking sector will outperform from here on. On Nifty Bank, one can expect the index to clock in 40,000 by Diwali”, he said
