SJVN: The company has entered into a contract agreement for electro mechanical works of 210 MW Luhri Hydro Electric Project Stage-1 with Voith Hydro (P). The electro mechanical works amounting to Rs 420.28 crores, have been awarded to Voith Hydro on July 16, 2021. The same are to be completed in line with the Work Schedule of the Project, which is targeted for commissioning by May 24, 2025.
Coal India: Coal India will be infusing Rs 14,000 crore till FY25 in first-mile connectivity infrastructure in two phases. The company has taken steps to upgrade the mechanised coal transportation and loading system under ‘First Mile Connectivity’ projects. In phase-I, 35 projects had been tendered out of which four projects of 30 MTPA have been commissioned.
Unichem Laboratories: The company has received ANDA approval for its Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets USP, 500 mg and 750 mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market a generic version of Glucophage XR Tablets, 500 mg and 750 mg, of EMD Serono Inc.
NTPC: In a significant development for the Indian Power Sector, NHPC and NTPC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for ‘cooperation in overseas power sector’. The MoU includes taking up of project development, capacity building, O&M, RMU and other consultancy assignments outside India jointly by NHPC & NTPC.
TCPL Packaging: The company has subscribed additional 40,00,000 fully paid-up equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each of TCPL Innofilms, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Tata Steel: Tata Steel reported consolidated net profit of Rs 8906.95 crore in Q1FY22 against net loss of Rs 4416.56 crore in Q1FY21. Total income jumped 108.49% to Rs 53656.31 crore.
Hero MotoCorp: The two-wheeler major reported 333.01% surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 256.08 crore on 81% rise in total income to Rs 5648.20 crore in Q1FY22 over in Q1FY21.
Aurobindo Pharma: The pharma company reported 1.67% fall in consolidated net profit to Rs 769.97 crore on 3.78% fall in total income to Rs 5811.88 crore in Q1FY22 over in Q1FY21.
Eicher Motors: Royal Enfield maker reported consolidated profit after tax of Rs 237 crore as compared to a loss Rs. 55 crore during the same period last year. Total revenue from operations was recorded at Rs 1,974 crore, up 141% as compared to Rs 818 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY 2020-21.
Page Industries: The company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 10.95 crore in Q1FY22 against net loss of Rs 39.55 crore in Q1FY21. Total income jumped 73.64% to Rs 505.09 crore.
Ashok Leyland: The company reported consolidated net loss of Rs 273.86 crore in Q1FY22 as against net loss of Rs 409.08 crore in Q1FY21. Total income jumped 168.08% to Rs 4103.27 crore.
