Zomato: Online food delivery platform Zomato reported widening of its net loss to Rs 360.7 crore for the quarter ended on June 30, 2021. It had posted a net loss of Rs 99.8 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra): Telecom operator Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) reported narrowing of its loss to Rs 318.45 crore for the first quarter ended June 30. It had recorded a loss of Rs 1,069.26 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

Galaxy Surfactants: The company on Tuesday reported a 36% jump in profit after tax to Rs 76.8 crore for the June 2021 quarter. Its PAT stood at Rs 56.5 crore during the corresponding quarter of 2020-21.

Prestige Estates: The company on Tuesday reported an over four-fold jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 92.5 crore for the quarter ended June and said its board has approved raising of up to Rs 1,000 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures. Its net profit stood at Rs 20 crore in the year-ago period.

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust: The company reported a 3.8% increase in net operating income to Rs 169.6 crore for the quarter ended June and announced the distribution of Rs 181.7 crore to unitholders. Its net operating income stood at Rs 163.4 crore in the year-ago period.

Tata Motors: The auto major has launched new variants of its flagship SUVs Harrier and Safari in the country. The new XTA plus trims of the two SUVs come with various features including six-speed automatic transmission and panoramic sunroof. The Harrier and the Safari are collectively leading the high-end SUV segment with a 41.2 per cent market share as of Q1 of the current fiscal and the XTA plus variants will further add more dynamism to the entire offering, strengthening the portfolio in this fast-growing segment.

RattanIndia Enterprises: The company has decided to make a strategic investment in US based Matternet, the world’s most extensive urban drone logistics platform. With this investment, REL has forayed into the deep-tech Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) industry, which is set to transform logistics ecosystems worldwide. Matternet, based out of Silicon Valley counts Boeing, Mercedes-Benz, McKesson Ventures and Sony as investors.

GMR Infrastructure: GMR Infrastructure is planning to raise funds up to Rs 6,000 crore in one or more tranche(s), through the issue of securities, including a qualified Institutions placement and/or foreign currency convertible bonds and/or any other securities. The Board of Directors is scheduled to meet on August 13 to consider and approve the same.

Onmobile Global: The company has completed the acquisition of 100% stake in Technologies rob0 Inc., through its subsidiary Onmobile Global Solutions Canada. With this acquisition, company is all set to add new gaming technology and knowhow to accelerate and enhance the gaming business.

Welspun India: The company has earmarked capital expenditure of Rs 600 crore in the ongoing fiscal for completing expansion projects across its three business verticals. The company expects its top line to grow by over 15 per cent in FY22 on the back of expanded capacities and with customer demand remaining buoyant.
