Insurers stopped tele-medicine facility for buying term insurance
CSC SPV said this service will gradually start in more than 3.74 lakh Common Service Centers, which are managed and operated by VLEs i.e. Village Level Entrepreneurs.

Patients visitng the Common Service Center will have to register and fill the details on the OPD App. The VLE will then receive a 16-digit patient ID and a token.
After receiving the SMS, the VLE will log in with a patient ID. When the Call Now button is activated, the VLE can initiate a video call and help the patient to seek medical advice.
After consultation, the VLE can download the e-prescription sent by the doctor. It will contain the details of medicines, which can be purchased from the medical shop.
