Suresh Raina top-scored with a 36-ball 54 as Chennai Super Kings notched 188/7 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals on April 10. Batting first, CSK lost two early wickets before Raina was involved in two crucial stands with Ambati Rayudu (53 off 38 balls) and Moeen Ali (63 off 33 balls).
However, soon after reaching the half-century mark in just 32 balls, Raina was run out following a mix-up with Ravindra Jadeja on the first ball of the 16th over.
Two balls later, CSK captain MS Dhoni departed on a duck off DC pacer Avesh Khan. Khan also dismissed opener Faf du Plessis and returned with 2/23 in his four overs.
However, late cameos by Sam Curran (34, 15b) and Ravindra Jadeja (26, 17b) took CSK’s score past 185-mark.
