How is the demand going to pan out for cars, two-wheelers and smartphones in the next six months? Some indications of this have come out in Money9’s India’s Pulse Personal Finance Survey. The survey tells us how many Indian families are planning to buy a two-wheeler or a car for themselves in the next 6 months. The survey also tells us how many Indian families are thinking of buying a smartphone instead of a feature phone and how many Indian families are planning to buy a two-wheeler or a car in the next 6 months.
According to the survey, about 10 percent of Indian families are planning to buy a smartphone in the next 6 months. Most of such families are in Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Chandigarh and Gujarat. According to the survey, 4 percent of the families are planning to travel abroad in the next 12 months, the maximum number of such families are in Karnataka, Odisha, Gujarat, Punjab and Chandigarh.
According to the survey, there are 3 percent Indian families who are planning to buy a car, jeep or van for themselves in the next 6 months and such families are highest in Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka and Delhi NCR. According to the survey, almost the same number of families are planning to buy a two-wheeler for themselves in the next 6 months and the maximum number of such families are in Maharashtra, Assam, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
This personal finance survey of Money9 was conducted in more than 115 districts of 20 states of the country during August to November. The survey was conducted in 10 different languages, it included 1140 villages or urban wards of the country. This survey gives complete information about the earnings, expenses, savings and investments of Indians.
