The income tax permanent account number (PAN) is mandatory for several transactions including buying propoerty,  mutual funds or even opening a bank account. In such a scenario it is necessary to keep the card updated. The PAN does not have the address of the holder on the card but it is stored in the background.
If you are changing your house or changing the city, then it is very important to update the address of your PAN card. This can be done by following a few easy steps.

For this, you first go to https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/ and scroll down on the home page and select the option of ‘Facility for address update in PAN database through eKYC mode’ under ‘PAN SERVICES’.
A new page will open. Fill in the information sought in it like- PAN number, Aadhaar number, mobile number, email ID.
Now you select ‘Aadhar Base e-KYC address Update’ in ‘Address Update Source’.
Then fill the captcha given below in the box and ‘Submit’.
After this you will go to a new page, where you will have to verify the details. Then fill the captcha and submit the declaration by ticking it.
After this, a One Time Password (OTP) will be received on the mobile number which is registered on your Aadhaar number. Punch in the OTP and submit the form.
Now a new interface will open in front of you, on which the address present in your Aadhaar will be visible. Now after filling the captcha, submit the same address to get it updated in the PAN card.
After this, the request to update your address in your PAN card will be accepted in the next page, its message will appear.
Now after a week the new address will be updated in your PAN card.
After this, whenever you order a PAN card, it will be sent to your new address.
